The music festival lineup in Croatia has reached an all time high this year, the perfect way to round off a Croatia tour, or even a sailing holiday to across the Med.

Two of Croatia’s largest music festivals have announced some very exciting, and some very sad news.

First off, the sad news: organisers of Croatia’s Hideout Festival, set on the white sands of Pag Island, have had to announce the festival as Sold Out, after releasing tickets as late as November 2012! The Croatian event has completely SOLD OUT in less than ten weeks, and just shows how this fantastic festival has gone from strength to strength since its inception a few years ago.

Locals to the festival can still buy tickets, and will have the chance to see such amazing acts such as Four Tet, Chase & Status, Modeselektor, Rudimental, Seth Troxler and Skream.

The promoters of this festival are actually planning a completely new event set to take place from 10th – 14th September 2013. Since Hideout is now sold out in the UK this will certainly fill their summer search for a hedonistic paradise. Watch this space for details!

Moving on to some really good news, the original and arguably most popular festival in Croatia, The Garden Festival, have announced the first wave of live acts and DJs.

Entering its 8th year in 2013 The Garden Festival is now firmly established at its new home in Tisno, and is adored for the family atmosphere and sunny weather.

Kicking of the announcements of the who’s who of acts is Garden Festival favorites Crazy, returning to the main stage after last summer’s stunning show.

Other live acts announcements are Auntie Flo, Outboxx, Claremont 56’s Paqua, Land of Light, Face and Heelmix.

DJ announcements are as follows: Floating Points, Eats Everything, Thugfucker, Theo, Soul Clap and Wolf and Lamb. There are loads more acts line up, please check festivalmag.com for more detailed, expert info!
