What’s your idea of your dream holiday? Sunshine, partying, watersports, late nights and lazy days, exploring, sightseeing… everyone has a wish list when it comes to vacation time. If you’re going away with a bunch of friends then it can sometimes be hard to find something which fits in with everyone’s ideal and you can often end up compromising. But, if you’ve never tried one before, here’s something you’ll all love… a sailing holiday.

A sailing holiday? Isn’t that for middle-aged couples and retired folk who can afford to yacht their way around the world? Well, no actually. They’re for absolutely everyone and anyone, and are just perfect for getting a group of friends together.

You don’t need sailing experience, as you can charter a boat with a skipper to do all the navigation and sailing, and you don’t need to have a fortune, either. Splitting the cost of a sailing break between a few friends doesn’t work out any more expensive than a hotel.
And the upside is you won’t have to fight your way through the hordes to get a sunlounger, you can recline on deck. You don’t need to wait in line for your food, just cater on board or eat where you dock. And if you’re partying until the early hours, you won’t be disturbed at sunrise by small children running up and down outside, your boat is your haven.

Sailing on the blue seas is relaxing and invigorating. You can stop off and explore wherever you choose, you can enjoy the local nightlife and you can mix up chilling out and staying up. Try it once, and you’ll never look back…
