On your seven day Croatia sailing holiday you spend one evening in Hvar Town, the biggest party spot on Hvar Island, by far! It was made famous by celebrities such as Eva Longoria, JayZ, Beyoncé and Prince Harry gracing it with their presence and it has continued to develop into a glamorous spot for a knees up!

Kick start your night at a pace you are accustomed to after a few relaxing days sailing Croatia, head to Hula Hula. This is a rustic wooden beach bar with fantastic sunset views, the deck chairs resting against the Adriatic Sea, chill-out music playing in the background – a great way to start the evening. At night this bar turns into a massive dance party featuring live DJs, a new age Ibiza if you will!

The next bar, Veneranda is located in an old church, St. Veneranda, which was originally built in 1561. It has been re-purposed into a vibrant bar with a pool and dance floor, playing electronic music and hosting live DJ’s, perfect for a few warm-up drinks and an ogle at some of the glamorous guests entering and exiting the VIP area.

Carpe Diem is the glitziest of the bars on Hvar with a mix of sun-tanned celebrities, moneyed sailing types, locals and of course, you, the MedSailors crew! The stone frontage gives way onto a plush waterside lounge facing Hvar’s palm-lined seafront. It’s quite pricey so make sure you include it in your budget!

The first tourist bar on the island, and then the first disco club on the island, Kiva bar has a rich history of catering for tourists. It has moved on from its disco music roots, and is now a fully-fledged rock bar; playing hit songs you can sing and dance to until all hours. Guaranteed a good time, strong cocktails and laughs, we reckon this is the perfect closer where you can rock out until sunrise!
