A holiday should leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and there is no better destination to achieve both in than Turkey.

Stunning Turkey beaches - Bathing in the sun and the sea

First of all, the picture-perfect beaches that you will experience on a sailing Turkey break are simply ideal for relaxing on and watching the world go by. But not only that, the sands of the Turkish coastline are home to an array of wildlife that make relaxing here something extra special. Take Patara Beach, for example: it’s home to the increasingly rare loggerhead turtles, so spending time here is much more than your average day at the beach.

If you want to relax in a truly traditional way, then why not try a Turkish bath? Known as a hamam, the Turkish bath is much more than your average spa day. Yes, you will still get the steam and sauna treatments that you might expect, but the overall experience is one that will leave you feeling well looked after, fully rejuvenated and, perhaps more importantly, like you have sampled something of traditional Turkish culture.

And last but not least, there is the food! People in Turkey take their food very seriously, but when it comes to eating it, relaxation is the order of the day. Enjoying a leisurely lunch of mezze (a ‘tapas’ style meal of tasty Turkish dishes) might easily turn into an even more leisurely dinner, and there really is no better way to end your day during a holiday on the coast.
