One of the absolute pleasures of sailing in Greece is being able to take a swim in the sea almost any time, day or night. And by moving around the many islands that the country has to offer, you get to sample the best beaches and waters that Greece has.

Visit Greece - Swim in warm seas
For many, one of the best places to soak up sun, sea and sand is the picture-perfect island of Agistri. Not far from Aegina, this island provides a range of beaches to suit all types of travellers.

A near perfect view of Aegina can be found from Milos beach. Here the beach of both sand and pebbles is lined with welcoming tavernas which are ready to serve food and drink as you relax and take in the unforgettable views.

Not far from Milos, you will find Dragonera beach. A far quieter location than Milos, Dragonera is situated at the foot of a tree-lined road and is surrounded by a dramatic rocky coastline. The seclusion and tranquillity can offer a real sense of escape for those visitors looking for something a little more out of the ordinary.

If you’re looking for perfect swimming conditions, Mariza beach is a must-visit. The sea here is deep and clear and simply ideal for a swim whilst taking in the beauty of this most idyllic of islands.
