The Turkish tourist board must be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing how best to advertise their beautiful country. There are so many amazing views, clear blue waters and stunning sandy beaches that selecting the best representation of all these is a daunting task. But when it comes to summing up all that makes Turkey such an attractive prospect, Kaputas beach is a perfect choice.

Here the sand and sea combine to make a truly unspoilt area of natural beauty. The beach itself is uncluttered by the usual holiday paraphernalia, leaving it as something of a paradise for sun-seekers and water-worshippers alike. Indeed, it is the sheer simplicity of the beach that makes it a must-see when sailing Turkey’s seas.

Not only that, Kaputas beach is home to one of Turkey’s most remarkable places – the Blue Cave. Considered the best example of such a feature in all of Turkey, the Blue Cave’s entrance gives way to a truly amazing experience. The turquoise sea within is a sparkling blue and, as such, the reflections create a tranquil phosphorescent glow which bathes the cave walls. The overall result is a wonderful natural phenomenon which will live long in the memory.
