When it comes to sailing Turkey is one of the most spectacular destinations you can visit. But no country can be summed up by just one spot. A sailing holiday in Turkey is a great way to see all the best parts of the country, including some of the absolute must-visit places.

Beaches and Natural Wonders
One of the best things about Turkey is that it offers some of the best beaches in Europe. These include the extraordinary Oludeniz beach and the fantastic Patara beach. As well as offering the chance to absorb golden sunlight and dip into the crystal clear ocean, these beautiful seafronts offer the chance to enjoy watersports and see some of Turkey’s greatest natural wonders. For example, you might wish to soar over Oludeniz beach by paragliding, swim with dolphins in the waters off Patara, or explore the famous Blue Caves by snorkelling.

Unique Towns and Villages
Turkey is home to a number of unique towns and villages that are truly not to be missed while on your sailing holiday. These include the ancient village of Fethiye. As well as historical attractions such as a fantastic museum, Fethiye is the ideal place to try Turkish food, experience traditional Turkish baths and taste the country’s thriving nightlife. For a completely different and much quieter experience, don’t miss Kayakey, an eerie “ghost town” abandoned in 1927.
