When we were putting together our MedSailors Turkey sailing trip, Gocek was high on our list of must-visit destinations – here’s why!

See as much of Turkey as possible - Book a MedSailors trip

Soak in Spectacular Views

With everything from glorious gardens, a sparkling azure sea, secluded coves, stunning marinas and fragrant pine forests to enjoy, everywhere you look in Gocek is a treat for the eyes. Don’t forget to snap lots of pictures, making your mates back home a bit jel is all part of the fun!

Sit Back and Relax on Your MedSailors Turkey Getaway

Listening to the gentle ripples of the ocean and the way the soft sea breeze rustles through trees, Gocek is soothing, tranquil and utterly relaxing. Enjoy leisurely lunches in local cafés, watching the world go by as you soak in the warm Mediterranean sunshine.

Head Out on the Water

What Gocek lacks in beaches it more than makes up for in its breath-taking marinas. Admire a wide variety of boats before setting sail yourself out towards the stunning azure ocean.

Swim and Snorkel

Crystal clear waters make for prime swimming and snorkelling experiences. There’s a whole other world thriving beneath the waves, so don’t forget to bring an underwater camera!

Enjoy Local Cuisine on Your Sailing Trip

With plenty of waterside restaurants to choose from serving a variety of fresh fish and authentic Turkish dishes made from ultra-fresh local ingredients, you’ll be spoilt for choice and your Instagram feed will look incredible.

Take it Up a Gear

When you’re feeling thoroughly relaxed it’s time to get out there and do something adventurous. From quad biking and rafting to paragliding and paddle boarding, there’s an activity for absolutely everyone to get involved with.

Wander Around Charming Streets

Leading to high end designer boutiques and quaint artisanal craft shops alike, you’ll find lots of treasures hiding throughout Gocek’s streets. We recommend picking up some raki – which is a bit like ouzo but with a distinctive aniseed taste – and some traditional Turkish delight! Oh, and if you’re a bit of a magpie for jewellery, get ready to be amazed!
