Greece. It’s had something of a bad press recently, with its financial woes splashed across the press and its political systems under constant scrutiny. But luckily, holidaymakers are not letting this detract from the fact that in spite of its difficulties, Greece remains one of the most idyllic places to take a holiday. Friendly welcoming locals, beautiful beaches, wonderful sites of ancient architecture and delicious food and drink… all of these remain a constant.

If you’re travelling to the country, one of the best ways to get the most out of your holiday is to go sailing in Greece. From the comfort of your boat, you can travel around the coastline and hop from island to island, enjoying a different kind of holiday everywhere you stop. Some islands are great for sightseeing, while others offer culture, and some offer the ideal place for partying and nightlife. So you can enjoy some wonderful days out exploring ancient architecture, and then take in some modern shopping and contemporary culture. By night, the islands come alive with eating, drinking and dancing until the early hours, which you can enjoy before escaping back to the tranquillity of your boat.
