MedSailors Guests Make Their Way Around Croatia In Hire Car

Roadtrip in an old school VW Bug- classic!

Travelling to Festival Locations:

Zagreb: Word on the street is that bus travel times are shorter than trains in Croatia- but you should expect at least a 5 hour journey. Buses are inexpensive and easy to book locally. The train is of the modern German variety, so they are very comfortable and state of the art, not to mention covering an extremely scenic route. Book with Seat 61.

Island of Pag: Take the 3 hour bus to Zadar (which you can book locally as well, but check here for more details) and then a short bus ride to Pag island.

Tisno: Also situated about an hour’s travel from Split by bus, this is an easy route to book locally or, if you prefer private travel, you can book a transfer.

MedSailors does also recommend hiring a car from a local company and making your way to your destination yourself. Croatian roads are very scenic and nothing beats a road trip with friends! Car hire companies in Croatia are reputable and reliable… just remember your map!
