Choosing a sailing holiday is one of the best ways to enjoy the sights and sounds that Turkey has to offer, but with the season lasting from late April to early October, when is the best time to book your break?
Sailing Turkey - Seasonal fun
With the UK ‘summer’ weather continuing to live up to its less than glowing reputation, one of the guarantees people on holiday really look for is that the climate will be something to enjoy. If you like it hot, but not too hot, visiting Turkey at the start or end of the season is advised. You may need a light sweatshirt for the evenings, but you will still be more than comfortable in swimming shorts or a bikini during the day.

For many, June is the optimum month to enjoy a Turkey sailing vacation. Temperatures are consistently high, and you will have no worries about catching a chill when taking a dip in the bright blue sea. There is very little risk of storms, and as it is the start of high season, there is a real buzz of excitement around all of the country’s top holiday destinations.

But for those who really want a change from the UK’s unpredictable climate, why not choose July and August? No need for sweatshirts at any time here, as the weather is very hot throughout.

One thing is for certain: no matter the month, a sailing holiday really is a great way to make the most of what Turkey has to offer.
