The sea off the coast of Turkey is truly magnificent. It is clean, blue and warmed by some of the finest sunshine in the world. When you want to enjoy the waters that surround Turkey sailing  is a great activity to take part in. However, as wonderful as sailing holidays can be, this is not the only thing you can or should do in the ocean. To get the most out of the Turkish sea, you should seriously consider the following activities:

Sailing isn’t the only unmissable activity you can take part in while sat atop the surface of the water. Paddleboarding will allow you to glide atop the waves and get close to the warm, welcoming waters. Many areas around the coast of Turkey have exceptionally clear waters, and paddleboarding is a great way to look down and see what you can spot beneath the surface.

Swim Like a Mermaid
Of course, there’s nothing quite like getting in the water. No doubt you were already planning to swim, but you really should not underestimate how wonderful this experience can be. In particular, Turkey offers a very wide range of places to enjoy a dip, from popular beaches to quiet bays. Swim as often as you can, to make sure you make the most of this experience while you have the opportunity.

Snorkel in the Blue Cave
Having enjoyed the surface of the water and dropped in for a dip, the logical next step is to find a way to enjoy the spectacular natural landscapes that can be found under the water. Snorkelling is the ideal answer, letting you look down on the wonders beneath. If you snorkel only in one place, make sure it is the breathtaking Blue Cave, a natural wonder of incredible beauty.
