At MedSailors, sustainability isn’t just an initiative—it’s at the heart of everything we do. We’re dedicated to protecting the stunning destinations we sail through, ensuring they remain as beautiful for future generations as they are today.
Through eco-friendly practices and support for local communities, we work to reduce our environmental footprint and give back to the ecosystems and communities that make our voyages so special.
We believe in a future where sailing and sustainability go hand in hand. Our mission is to show that you can experience adventure and relaxation while being eco-friendly. By promoting sustainable tourism, we protect the pristine waters and coastlines we explore and inspire our guests to engage with the world in an eco-conscious way.
Our Floatie Recycling Programme addresses plastic waste by recycling inflatable pool toys, which frequently become harmful, non-biodegradable waste. This initiative has been honoured by the WYSE Travel Confederation as the Best Responsible Tourism Initiative.
We recycle old floaties and offer them to guests for a small donation, reducing new plastic demand.
Proceeds from floatie sales go to UOCEAN2050 and local groups like Archipelagos.
Our campaigns educate tourists and locals about sustainable practices.
Since launch, we’ve recycled over 3,000 floaties, prevented 6 tons of plastic waste, raised €15,000 for conservation, and reached 16,000 people with sustainability messages. Future plans include expanding the program to new destinations, including Turkey.
