Croatia is fast becoming an influential wine producer in Europe and this is not hard to believe when exploring the lush and plentiful vineyards dotted around the islands. Visit one of the most famous vineyard by Stari Grad on Hvar island. Wander the Stari Grad Plain, a UNESCO site, on the Adriatic island of Hvar is a cultural landscape that has remained practically intact since it was first colonised by Ionian Greeks from Paros in the 4th century BC to visit Hora Farms.

Watch the sunset over the lavender fields as you sample four of their specialty wines and enjoy an epic local feast. Your hosts will also show you how lavender oil was made and allow you to sample a variety of homemade olive oils.
