Don’t Forget To Pack These 7 Holiday Essentials
You’ll probably either love packing for holidays and have a full checklist printed off and ready to go weeks in advance, or you’ll absolutely hate it and leave everything to the last minute. Whatever you do though, don’t forget to pop these holiday essentials into your sailing trip suitcase!
1. Enough Clothes for All Eventualities
Although you definitely don’t need to pack your entire wardrobe, bringing a variety of clothing options is always a good idea if you’re not sure exactly how you’re going to spend your time away.
2. A Sensible Pair of Shoes
Just in case!
3. Your Kindle/A Paperback
Sitting back on the desk of a luxury boat and getting stuck into a really great read is something we reckon everyone should experience at least once!
4. Cash
Even if you’re planning to pay for most of your expenses via card or utilise cash machines throughout your trip, it’s always a good idea to have some cash on hand just in case you can’t locate an ATM or you accidentally misplace your card.
5. Travel Adapters
Keeping your devices fully charged throughout your trip means that you won’t miss out on any cool photo opportunities or find yourself a little lost with no access to Google Maps. While there will be a workaround for both of those situations, making sure you have a travel adapter with you is always a good idea. It’s best to avoid purchasing these at airports as they will be far more expensive.
6. An Additional Memory Card for your Sailing Trip Shenanigans
We’re certain that you’ll be snapping lots of pictures throughout your sailing adventure, so do bring along an extra memory card if you tend to get a little snap happy at the best of times!
7. Your Travel Documents
This might seem like an obvious one, but you definitely don’t want to leave your passport or tickets on the kitchen counter as you run outside to get into your taxi to the airport. Put them in your hand luggage in advance to avoid any last-minute stressful situations! For more info please check our FAQ on our website.
