There is so much to see and do when enjoying a Croatia sailing trip that it can be hard to fit everything in! If you are looking for the perfect balance between nightlife and culture, then a night in Hvar followed by a day in Stari Grad could be just the ticket.

Croatian cities to visit - Eat and drink in the evening

As it’s one of the oldest European settlements, you will find plenty to see and do in terms of cultural activities. Indeed, the area of Stari Grad is particularly well known for its celebration of all that is wonderful about Croatian culture. Fusing the traditional with the modern means that entertainment here is wonderfully unique, and in the height of the summer the town is often abuzz with live music, art installations and street performances.

Not only is the town alive with culture, but it is also a beautiful place to explore. With secluded coves simply perfect for both mooring your boat and exploring the crystal-clear seas, you might just find yourself never even needing to venture on land! But if you do, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating and drinking.

And with its closest neighbour being the lively and world-renowned party town of Hvar, Stari Grad can provide something of a peaceful oasis after the exploits of the night before.
