Must-Visit Wonders Of The Greek Islands
It’s certainly no secret that Greece is home to some of the most spectacular views, but seriously, everywhere you look in this incredible part of the world looks like something out of a dream. Let’s put it this way, your snaps from your escape to the Saronic islands will ensure your Instagram feed is looking lit!
This incredible ancient city marks the start of our sailing itinerary and it almost goes without saying that soaking in the atmosphere at the Acropolis and the Parthenon should be at the top of your to-do list. You’ll also be spoilt for choice with cafes serving the most delicious coffee, so sit back and watch the world go by before heading to the marina for the start of your sailing trip.
Picture Perfect Perdika and Moni Island
After exploring the charming village of Perdika, which enchants visitors with its beautiful bay and traditional tavernas, taking a water taxi over to the uninhabited island of Moni is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Enjoy the island’s unspoilt natural environment, paddle board or swim in the crystal-clear waters and soak up the warm Greek sunshine.
Enjoy Bisti Beach on Your Sailing Trip
The beautiful town of Ermioni has some spectacular beaches and Bisti beach is one of our personal favourites. It’s pebbly, so don’t forget to bring a pair of comfortable shoes, but as soon as you put on your snorkel and submerge yourself into the underwater paradise, you’ll see why we love this particular spot so much. Bisti is also home to temples dedicated to Dionysus, Poseidon and Demeter, so you’ll be able to soak in some of Greece’s incredible ancient history here too!
Experience Poros’s Lemon Trees During Your Saronic Islands Adventure
The only thing better than experiencing the stunning Greek landscapes under a blue sky and warm sunshine is experiencing it with the gentle scent of lemon and orange blossom in the air. We’ve heard Poros described as being like heaven on earth and with so much natural beauty everywhere, it’s impossible to argue. Check out our Greece Saronic adventure to read more.
