Below is an overview of our planned sailing itinerary although at times, weather and other conditions may affect or alter our route. Don't worry your skipper will keep you aware of any changes along the way.
Welcome to Greece! We recommend arriving in Athens a day ahead of your MedSailors Athens Voyager trip if you want to soak up some of the incredible ancient historic sites. Before you come aboard, explore the Acropolis and Parthenon – a famous UNESCO World Heritage citadel and a Greece must-see, or get lost in the cobbled streets of downtown Athens tasting your first bites of drool-worthy Greek food.
After check in at Alimos Marina, we set sail from in the afternoon to the island of Aegina, famous for pistachios, rich history and mythology. Get to know your MedSailors crew as you spend the afternoon paddle-boarding and swimming in crystal-clear water. If time allows, hike up to the hilltop viewpoint and Temple of Aphaia before sunset, part of the Sacred Triangle of Ancient Greece. In the evening, dive into a Greek feast and drinks seaside while bonding with your fellow sailors.
Next stop: Hydra, the island where time slows down and style takes over. There are no cars here, just donkeys, stone mansions, and winding lanes made for getting lost in. Swim off the rocks, explore hidden bays, or sip rosé in a harbour café while watching the boats roll in. As the sun sets, the sky turns every shade of peach and gold, the perfect backdrop for another evening that’s equal parts laid-back and magical.
We’re off to Spetses, a little slice of old-school charm with a modern edge. Sail across the Aegean, soak up the sea views, and get ready for an island that’s equal parts history and high style. Cycle through cobbled streets, admire grand old villas, or just relax on the beach taking in the breathtaking scenery. Come evening, enjoy fresh seafood and local wine as the lights dance across the bay; Spetses does romance effortlessly.
After breakfast, we sail to Dokos, an uninhabited island that’s all about peace, quiet, and crystal-clear water. No shops, no crowds, no problem. Spend the day snorkelling, sunbathing, or doing absolutely nothing at all. When night falls, we drop anchor in a calm bay for dinner onboard; just you, your crew, good food, and a sky full of stars. Pure Greek magic.
Awaken to the sound of gentle waves as we set sail for Poros, an island rich in myth and nature. Spend the afternoon exploring the Temple of Poseidon or wandering up to the old clock tower for sweeping views across the gulf. For the adventure-minded, there is a variety of water sports before we end the day with fresh seafood, cool drinks, and music by the water’s edge.
Your final island stop brings us to beautiful Perdika, a laid-back little harbour on Aegina. Take a quick trip to nearby Moni Island to spot wild deer and peacocks, or visit nearby the nearby Temple of Aphaia dating back to 500BC. In the evening, our farewell night is all about Greek food, dancing, laughter, and that last bit of sparkle under the stars. It’s the perfect end to a week of sun, sea, and adventure.
After a relaxing morning swim in your skipper's favourite bay, we'll set sail back to port in Athens. Toast your MedSailors family with a great week filled with unforgettable memories. Back on land by afternoon, you will have plenty of time to explore more of the history and hospitality of this amazing Greek capital if you plan to stay the evening in Athens.

With a large international airport, you can easily get to Athens on both domestic and international flights. Our base at Alimos Marina is about 30 km from the Airport, reachable by bus, train, or taxi within 45 mins or just 12km from the main tourist sites in Athens. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time (about an hour) to get there for check-in!
